Find reviewers who
actually deliver.

At ScienceNet, our mission is to enhance the quality of the peer-review process and encourage new reviewers to contribute by providing them with our technological toolset and fair financial compensation for their work. We want to make your peer review faster and more efficient.

Byline

Created by reviewers to fix scientific publishing.

§ 01The Standard

The Current Standard

As you likely experience daily, finding reliable reviewers is a major challenge. Many ignore invitations, others decline, and some accept only to disappear without delivering any feedback.

Peer review is becoming an increasingly troublesome process. The speed of evolution in the field is unprecedented, and AI tools are making it even faster. As a result, there are significant difficulties in handling reviews properly and maintaining high quality without technological support within a limited amount of time. Another problem is motivation — fewer and fewer reviewers are willing to contribute without financial compensation or after work hours, especially in the era of work-life balance. The reality is hard and will not get easier. Nowadays, it is more challenging to invite suitable, expert reviewers for a paper using outdated systems and email invitations.
